Nearly 50 years · One family’s connection to the land

A legacy grown.
A future nurtured.

Nearly 50 years ago, Professor Joseph Mathew founded Brindhavan Estate in Maramalai, Kanyakumari district. A professor of botany at Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram, he began a connection with the land that continues through his son, Thomas Joseph.

Today, that family legacy shapes the estate’s approach to growing spices and working directly with buyers. Primeur Fresh brings that connection to your business—from our land, through our hands, to you.

A sense of place

Good spice begins
with good roots.

Cloves & cardamom. Grown with care. Traded with a direct connection.

Why direct matters

A shorter chain makes a stronger spice.

Every extra hand-off creates distance between the buyer and the crop. We keep that distance short.

01

Origin you can actually trace

Your supply starts with farms under our own operation, giving you a clear point of origin and a direct line back to the grower.

02

Decisions made at the crop

Harvesting and post-harvest handling are guided by the spice itself, not by the needs of a chain of intermediaries.

03

Fewer margins in the middle

A direct commercial relationship means the conversation is about the crop, the grade and your requirement—not broker layers.

04

A relationship that improves over time

Feedback from your kitchen, production line or retail shelf comes straight back to the people managing the next harvest.

The care behind every crop

From the branch
to your business.

A direct journey, with attention at every stage. The people behind the harvest are the people behind your supply.
